Snapshots From the (Last) Weekend

It's been quite a whirlwind around here lately. I haven’t been around much, and I feel terrible about that. To give you a little context, my bathroom counter has turned into a makeshift pharmacy, stocked with creams, oils, and various remedies. It feels like we’ve been living in survival mode for what feels like forever—nursing has been excruciatingly painful, like someone is sticking hot needles into me with every feed. But despite the discomfort, there’s a tiny spark of hope now. Thrush has been no joke, but I’m starting to see the light at the end of this exhausting tunnel. Other than the physical struggle, life has been beautiful too. We’ve been soaking up every moment with our little one, cherishing the time we have together as a family. And honestly, those precious moments mean everything, even when things feel overwhelming. Now, I only have a few minutes before I need to gear up for another round of nursing and yet another doctor’s visit. So, let me share some quick snapshots from last weekend while I still have the chance.

First shower in days? Feels like a milestone!

Those shoes? They’ve been glued to his feet since Nana gifted them to him. He loves them almost as much as he loves us!

Aliyah flew up to Michigan for a week to visit Papa and attend a performing arts camp. We miss her so much already.
