Hey there, friends! Lately, I've been diving deep into #PROJECTdecor and trying to squeeze in updates wherever I can around the house. This time, it was all about our outdoor space. I've always wanted to bring a touch of softness to the outdoors, so when I spotted sets of two sheer curtains for just $4.99, I couldn’t resist! They were such a steal and totally transformed the look of our patio.
As you can see, the before picture was a bit sparse.
This whole project was super easy—so much so that I didn’t feel the need for detailed instructions, but I’ll share the basics anyway! All you need is some string, curtain sheers, and either self-adhesive hooks or screws. First, attach the hooks or screws along the top of the area where the curtains will hang. Then, thread the string through the curtains and tie them onto the hooks or screws. We started with two curtains at a time, tied them off, and repeated until everything was hung. Lastly, fluff them up and enjoy the cozy vibes!
To finish off the area, we brought out a rug that had been rolled up in our garage and added a few cushions and decorative pieces from inside the house. While there’s always room for more upgrades, this $20 project definitely made a noticeable difference already!
