The preliminary investigation by the quality supervision department concluded that these liquids were suspected of being prepared with sunset yellow, caramel, or even carmine. The workshop immersed the pork in the pigment solution, and in the instant, the black “rural bacon” or the red “broad-style bacon” could be dyed. Furthermore, the meat can be roasted on a coal stove and quickly made into various "flavored bacon".

In this workshop, law enforcement officers also discovered sodium nitrite.

Quality supervision law enforcement personnel believe that the workshops that concocted the "intensified bacon" are not only illegally produced, the raw material pork is of unknown origin, and allegedly over-supplying sunset yellow and caramel pigments have been carefully used by the state for colorants, and the illegal addition of sodium nitrite is suspected. Carmine may harm consumers' health and even have carcinogenic effects.

The use of coal fire to bake “bacon” may also constitute excessive contamination of meat sulphides, carbon monoxide, and heavy metals. How can such bacon be eaten? ”

A special person to inspect the black nests in this rectification operation collected a total of 3210 kilograms of unlicensed finished bacon products, with a value of 128,500 yuan and 1280 kg of semi-finished products and raw materials. More than 30 cases of counterfeit bread, cake food and raw materials were seized.
