The water area in the culture area is large, the water depth is more than 6m, the dissolved oxygen is 6~9mg/L, the pH value is 7~8.4, the total hardness is 20~40mg/L, the ammonia nitrogen is 0.02~0.06mg/L, and the nitrite is 0.0015~0.01mg / L, good water quality, in line with GB1160 "Fisheries Water Quality Standards" and NY5051-2001 "non-polluted food freshwater aquaculture water quality" standard all the requirements.
Net cage structure and setting - reference to the eel cage in the cage setting, choose plankton-rich waters, require smooth water flow, shelter from the wind, and keep the environment quiet. The cage frame adopts a simple bamboo frame. The box material is made of polyethylene without knotting mesh. The size of the cage is 5m5m2.5m and the mesh size is 2.5cm. The paddlefish were afraid of light and the surface of the cage was covered with a black film.
Main technical measures
Seed selection and stocking - Choose good-quality seed with robust physique, lively swimming, neat specifications, and no disease or injury. Stocking densities range from 20 to 40 tails per square meter. The specification is 10~15cm. According to the characteristics that paddlefish seedlings are sensitive to changes in water temperature, the temperature difference should not be too large when the seedlings enter the box, and should not exceed 2°C. Before entering the box, use 1.5% to 2.0% saline solution for 8 to 10 minutes of fish disinfection.
Scientific feeding - At the beginning of restocking, feed mainly zooplankton (such as red worms), and gradually domesticate and transfer to feed buoyant granular food supplemented with light bait at night. The baits require fresh, undamaged, nutritious and palatable particle sizes. Feeding follows the "four principles" principle. When the water temperature is 20~30°C, the daily feeding rate is 1.5%~3%; when the water temperature is less than 20°C, the daily feeding rate is 0.5%~1.0%. Specifically according to the feeding situation, weather, water quality and other timely high-speed. The number of feedings is 3 times a day, which is from 07:00 to 08:00, 11:00 to 12:00, and 18:00 to 19:00.
Timely binning - paddlefish grows rapidly, and should be cultivated in a timely manner to avoid polarization, which will help improve the survival rate.
Hard service
1. Strictly implement the early, middle and late inspections system to observe the feeding and activities of carp carefully and remove the residual baits promptly. Rinse the cage regularly to prevent clogging of the mesh and affect the exchange of water inside and outside the box.
2. Ensure cage safety In rainy days and stormy seasons, reinforce cages. Also check the cage regularly for any damage, and repair it if it is damaged. Black screened nylon cloth and anti-theft net should also be installed on the top of the cage.
3. Do a daily record of good weather records, water temperature, feeding amount and the number of deaths on the record. Abnormal conditions were found and timely measures were taken.
Fish Disease Prevention
Adhere to the principle of "prevention and health management." The seedlings are stocked with 1%~2% of salt or 0.4mg/L of dibromohydantoin, etc. into the box after every stocking, and use 15mg/L in the cage every 20 days or so. Lime and 0.3mg/L dibromohydantoin are disinfected. Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited in the waters surrounding the cages.
