Sows "feeding by feeding" method

Based on the sow's body condition and physiological characteristics, the following three feeding methods can be used:

This method is suitable for slaughtered sows with poor nympancies after weaning, and these pigs account for the majority of pigs. Second, the "pre-coarse" method

This method is suitable for pre-breeding sows with better body conditions. Because the fetus is very small at the beginning of pregnancy, and the sow's sensation is good, the nutrient needs before the breeding can be fed to the green roughage in the diet, which basically can meet the needs of the growth and development of the fetus, and then feed the concentrate later.

Third, the "step by step" method

This method is suitable for the production of sows. This is mainly because the primiparous sows are still in a stage of growth and development, and the nutrients needed are large. Therefore, the nutritional level throughout the pregnancy is gradually increased according to the increase in the weight of the fetus, reaching the peak one month before delivery. No matter which type of sow, late pregnancy (90 days to 3 days before delivery) requires short-term superior feeding. One way is to feed more than 1 kilogram of mixed concentrate per head per day. Another approach is to add animal fats or vegetable fats (5-6% of the diet) to the original diet.
