Scientific name Pennisetum flaccidum Griseb. Is a grass perennial herb. Distributed in the northeast, north, west and southwest regions.
Morphological characteristics of stalk solitary or clustered, erect, plant height 30 to 120cm. Leaf blade, leaf sheath glabrous, some sheath and margin hair. Leaves short hairy. Spike-like panicles cylindrical; main axis angular, with or without hairs, branches short; branchlets bristly white to brown purple; spikelets with 1-2 flowers, solitary or 2-3 clustered in the total Inside; the first is tiny; the second is 1/2–3/4 of the spikelets, with a vein of 3–5; the first lemma and spikelets are equal in length; the grains are nearly as long as the spikelets.
