Eucommia ulmoides high-quality cultivation techniques

Site preparation

Select a sunny terrain, fertile soil, well-drained neutral loam or sandy loam soil. Before planting, apply basal fertilizer and plough deep into the soil.

Nursery

Mother tree selection and seed treatment Seed selection should be carried out when the tree age is more than 15 years, grows on fertile soil, and grows sunny. Seed soaked in 60 °C water, naturally cool, keep at 20 °C, soak for 2 to 3 days. When the seeds are swelled, the peel is softened, removed, mixed with ash and dry soil, and mixed and sowed.

Seeding of Eucommia sowing in February to March, using drill, row spacing of 23 to 26 cm, depth of 3 cm, 4 to 5 kg of seed per acre, after sowing straw curtain and irrigating.

Nursery management

Nursery management in addition to routine measures, in particular, we must pay attention to keep the soil moist, and time seedlings, make up the seedlings, high temperature and drought pay attention to irrigation.

Transplanting

Transplanting is carried out in the spring. The transplanting sites are to be fully plowed and digging pits with a diameter and depth of 70 cm. High-quality farmyard fertilizer is applied in the pits. The fertilizing amount per mu is 1000-1500 kg, the row spacing is 1.52 meters, and the seedling height is 100 cm. About disease-free seedlings, transplanting seedlings edge.

Field management

Interplanting weeds and transplanting cultivars in the year usually 3 to 4 times, can be reduced after the appropriate number, combined with cultivator to remove field weeds.

Fertilizers are applied once a year in spring before germination and after defoliation, and 2000 to 2500 kilograms of high quality manure is applied per acre.

The number of irrigation irrigation should be based on the local climatic conditions. Annual precipitation is greater than 600 mm, normal years can be no irrigation; precipitation less than 600 mm, should be irrigation 3 to 4 times. Before germination, during shoot growth stage and dormancy stage, each irrigation was performed once, and irrigation was performed 3 to 5 days before debarking. The irrigation was performed in combination with topdressing.

Disease control Eucommia diseases mainly include damping-off, leaf blight and root rot. Blasting disease and leaf blight, spraying 65% dexamethasone wettable powder 500 to 600 times in the initial stage of disease, spraying once every 25 days; 70% thiophanate-methyl WP for root rot, digging width 30~ 45 to 50 centimeters deep, 50 to 70 centimeters in annular groove, 3 to 5, 100 to 150 g/plant, applied to the outside of the crown.

Harvest processing

The cultivation of eucommia ulmoides takes 10 to 15 years to start peeling and peeling is performed from April to June. Saw a circular mouth with a saw, deep to the xylem, 80cm upwards and then saw the second ring mouth. An incision is made between the two annular mouths, and the bamboo bark is used to gently peel the edges from the incisions to separate the bark from the xylem.

After the bark was peeled off, the bark was scalded with boiling water, and the layers were compacted and piled up and laid flat on the flat ground at the bottom of the wheat straw mat. The wood was covered and the weight was increased. Surrounded with grass around, it sweated for about 7 days, the endothelium was dark purple brown, remove the sun, scrape the rough skin to market.

Starch sugar is the sugar produced by starch as the raw material and the enzyme preparation is widely used in the preduction of starch sugar. The enzyme method has unique advantages comparing with the traditional acid hydrolysis of starch. The enzymatic reaction can carry out efficiently under the conditions of normal temperature, normal pressure and mild acidity. Enzyme method can simplify production equipment, improve labor conditions and reduce cost.  The enzyme itself is a protein and nontoxic. Enzyme is very sensitive to the pH value, and the reaction can be controlled by simply adjusting the acidity and alkalinity, changing the reaction temperature or adding inhibitors. The main liquefying enzyme is α-Amylase and the saccharifying enzymes include α-Amylase and Glucoamylase.

Sunson Starch Enzyme is developed for the hydrolysis of starch, we provide Glucoamylase, High-Temperature α-Amylase and Pullulanase for starch sugar industry.

Benefits:

Efficient degradation of dextrins
Higher dextrose yield
Less by-products formation

Low treatment costs and dosages

This product should be stored in a cool and dry place in sealed container, avoiding insolation, high temperature and damp.  The product has been formulated for optimal stability. Extended storage or adverse conditions such as higher temperature or higher humidity may lead to a higher dosage requirement.

Enzyme preparations are proteins, which may induce sensitization and cause allergic type reactions in sensitized individuals. Prolonged contact may cause minor irritation for skin, eyes or nasal mucosa, so any direct contiguity with human body should be avoided. If irritation or allergic response for skin or eyes develops, consult a doctor.
