AMG Intrauterine Artificial Insemination Tube Introduction

Intrauterine insemination of pigs, also known as deep artificial insemination, is a kind of insemination technology that uses a special insemination catheter to reside in the uterus cavity of the cervix 15-20cm. American Absolute Swine Insemination Co., Ltd. develops in-utero artificial insemination products. At present, the product has obtained two patented technologies in the United States. Now it has been promoted and applied in more than 20 countries in the world. In China, Shenzhen Jindiao Pig Insemination Equipment Products Factory Responsible for production and sales agent.
AMG products are divided into two types: the red sow vas deferens and the purple primordial sows vas deferens (Fig. 1). It can also be identified by the length of the rubber sleeve and the size of the sponge head. Once again, AMG's specially designed insemination bottle and the vas deferens completely coincide with each other, and the diameter of the insemination bottle is large, and the seminal fluid can flow without restriction in the vas deferens.

First, the difference between intrauterine vas deferens and common vas deferens

The AMG vas deferens a special rubber sleeve. This special rubber sleeve directly reaches the uterus to inseminate deeply, without having to worry about the uneven insemination of both sides of the uterus, which is a special model to simulate the uterus length of real sows and primiparous sows. Once again, the special rubber sleeve will not cause any harm to the uterus of the sow. When it is found that the sperm is difficult to inject into the uterus, it is due to the bulging effect of the rubber sleeve under the action of intensive pressure. This is also the best way to detect whether the sow is relaxed. The method allows sows to relax after a few minutes.

The principle of common vas deferens is: Insemination at the cervix. After the pig sperm enters the reproductive pipeline of the sow, it will begin a "tremendous trek". The sperm will move forward along the sow's reproductive tract. The density will show a gradient-like decrease. The sperm density in the cervix will be the highest, reaching more than 100 million. The upper sperm reaching the fallopian tube has a density of only 1000 (fertilized sites). This high selectivity of the porcine sperm and the large loss during operation make it possible for the more viable and active sperm to reach the site of fertilization, while also limiting the number of sperm that reach the site of fertilization, while the vast majority of sperm are Be swallowed or killed by white blood cells.

The principle of AMG use is to inseminate deep in the uterus. Under the condition that the estrus sow is completely relaxed, the squeezing quill and the vas deferens are used as the carrier for the sperm, and the insemination bottle is strongly squeezed (not to use violence). Let the rubber sleeves spread out in the uterus in an orderly manner. In the shortest time, the sperms are transported to the ovary and combined with eggs. With intrauterine vas deferens, the spermatozoa can be saved from the site of insemination of the cervix and the sperm can be combined with the egg under sufficient vitality conditions to achieve high pregnancy, high birth weight, and high live piglet count.
Experiment: Two identical estrus sows, an artificial insemination tube, and an AMG intrauterine insemination tube, were injected with the same amount of dye at the same time, and two pigs were slaughtered 10 minutes later. The conclusions are as follows:

(1) Ordinary artificial insemination With only a small amount of dye penetrating deep into the uterus, coverage is incomplete (Figure 2 left). (2) AMG intrauterine insemination until the fallopian tube junction, covering comprehensive, thorough (Figure 2 right).

Second, the method of insemination

1. The cleaning of sows' pus and the insertion of vas deferens before insemination are the same as those of ordinary vas deferens.

2. Reserve gilts and sows with 1 to 2 births, using primiparous sows' vas deferens (purple). Sows after the third child used regular sow vas deferens (red).

3, before insemination can be 10-15 hair sow, first inserted into the vas deferens. Prepare sows one after another because the uterus of the gilt is tight and sensitive, so it takes a long time to relax (6-8 minutes), and the sow is relaxed for 2-4 minutes, then go back to the previously inserted estrus sow. Insemination.

4, insemination precautions:

a. When the sow is relaxed, check again whether the vas deferens is locked by the cervix of the sow. You can use a rotating vas deferens to feel the tightness of the vas deferens and determine if the uterus is locked.

b. Take out the tested semen and open the bottle to allow the air to enter the semen bottle completely. Then invert the semen by shaking it upside down. Prepare insemination, remove the insemination tube stopper and cork stopper, and hold the insemination tube in the left hand. Do not swing it. Uncertainty, so as not to stimulate the uterus of the sow, the right hand to squeeze the semen bottle (not violent), when the force to feel the rubber sleeve is an orderly stretch in the deep uterus, remove the semen bottle of semen has not been finished At the same time, hold the end of the end of the avulsion tube with your left hand to prevent backflow of the semen and blow into the bottle of the insemination bottle (do not touch the bottle of the insemination bottle when blowing). When feeling help, remember not to forcibly inseminate and reconfirm whether the vas deferens is locked by the uterus of the sow. If the vas deferens is locked, this is due to the uterus constricting due to too tight pigs (giving the gilt the most obvious). If you relax for a few minutes and then lose your insemination, you can continue to inseminate the back sow, and then you can go back to inseminating the sow.

5, after the insemination, directly and slowly remove the vas deferens and insemination bottles and make estrus mating record table.

Third, insemination time

In addition to guaranteeing excellent semen and skilled insemination methods, the sow’s conception must record the exact time of each weaned sow, and must first determine the time of day for the detection of estrus 2 times (in the morning and afternoon). ) Since the estrus detection interval is about 12 hours, we use the 6-hour average to show the mean estrus for this group of sows, because our insemination time is based on the number of estrus days in the weaned sow Insemination time, because the ovulation of the sow is 1/3 of the time after estrus, ovulation is very important, too early or too late will affect the pregnancy, so our input sperm must cover the entire ovulation period is correct of. (As shown below)

Fig. 3 Time chart of estrus sow insemination

We studied the timing of AMG's insemination by studying the rules of estrus in sows: it is divided into three stages:

1, 3-4 days weaned sows, to determine the first time after the estrus insemination 24 hours delayed insemination, and then insemination every 8-12 hours, a total of insemination 2 times, because the earlier the estrus estrus, The longer the sow ovulates.

2, 5-6 days weaned sows, to determine the first insemination after estrus delayed 12 hours insemination, and then insemination every 8-12 hours, a total of insemination 2 times.

3, 7 days weaning estrus sows, gilts and anti-soothing sows, to determine the first insemination after estrus without delaying the insemination time, found that immediately after insemination, and then inseminated every 8-12 hours, a total of Insemination twice, because the later the estrus in the sow, the shorter the time the sow ovulates.

Fourth, summary

1. When using the AMG vas deferens, we must implement it in accordance with our methods of operation, and we must persevere in the detection of the insemination and estrus of every sow.

2. The detection of estrus sow is very important. The operation of insemination is only a process from estrangement to proficiency. It becomes skilled with practical experience, and the detection time of estrus is not good. This is directly related to the conception rate and childbirth. Number of live pigs, so we must record the number of days per weaned sow and estrus detection twice a day.

3, sperm quality must be ensured before insemination.

4, intrauterine vas deferens is easy to operate, estrus detection time is regular, so that our work is the most efficient.
