For postpartum placental retention in cows, pouring 10% saline into the uterine cavity and gently reversing the placenta can help remove retained tissues. Vinegar is another useful substance in animal care. Adding a small amount of vinegar to the feed of dairy cows can stimulate appetite and increase milk production. It also enhances feed intake and improves overall productivity. When feeding potatoes to animals, it's important to avoid sprouted, green, or rotten ones. If they must be used, removing the eyes and mildew and cooking them with vinegar can neutralize solanine, making the feed safe for livestock.

If sows don’t come into heat after weaning, mixing 500 ml of vinegar with 250 grams of noodles and feeding them for three days can induce estrus and improve breeding success.
Vinegar and garlic are also used to control chicken lice. A mixture of 100 grams of crushed garlic in 500 ml of vinegar, left to soak for one to two weeks, can be diluted four times with water and given at 0.5 ml per dose, three times a day, every three to five days. This remedy has a 97% cure rate. In larger flocks, mixing the solution with feed also yields good results. Regular use of this mixture can boost chick appetite, support growth, prevent diseases, and increase survival rates, ultimately improving the profitability of poultry farming.
