Spinach seed bed germination method

The germination rate of spinach seeds is generally determined by the paper bed germination method, but this method has a slow germination rate, and it requires regular watering during the germination process, and it is easy to cause artificial errors due to too much or too little water. After many times of practice, the sand bed germination method is simple, rapid and accurate. Now it is introduced for reference. 1. Disinfection 1 The sand shall be sieved and washed with clean water to remove dirt and impurities, put it into a steel plate and put it in a drying box at 130° C., and it shall be sterilized by high temperature for 3 hours to achieve the purpose of killing pathogens, and be used after cooling. 2 Wash the seeds away dirt impurities, randomly choose 400 seeds, into the prepared 0.3% carbendazim solution soak 4 hours to kill the pathogen, remove and dry for use. 2. Operation method Add water to the spare sand to reach 60% of the sand saturated water content, and the proportion of the sand water is 10:1.2. Divide the 4 parts into the culture box and the sand thickness is 2cm. Then divide the spare seed into 4 parts, each serving 100 grains, and dispose the whole dose on the sand bed of 4 culture boxes respectively. The distance between the grains should be the same as that of the grains, and cover the wet sand with a thickness of 0.5cm. Stick a good label, cover the lid, put it in the germination box, and control the temperature at about 15°C. No need to replenish moisture during germination, check germination potential after 5 days, check germination rate 10 days. Using the method described above, the error between the germination rate of the spinach seeds and the field germination rate was within 2%, and the error between the germination potential of the 5 days inspection and the germination rate of the 10 days was below 10%.
