Summer use precautions for tractors

In summer, when the weather is hot and the tractor is working in a high temperature environment, special attention should be paid to the following:
1. Handle "cooking" cautiously. The correct way to deal with this problem is to allow the engine to run at an intermediate speed, open the radiator cover, and release hot air. After cooling, slowly add cold water. When you open the radiator cover, you should stand in the upwind position, do not face the water inlet, so as not to be burned by the high-temperature water spray.
2. Keep the cooling system clean. Before the arrival of the summer, the cooling system must be thoroughly cleaned and cleaned to ensure that the water pump and the radiator hoses are kept open to ensure the normal circulation of the cooling water. In addition, weeds and other objects that adhere to the surface of the heat sink should be promptly removed.
3. Prevent water leakage. Leakage of the cooling system occurs at the water pump bushings. At this time, the water seal compression nut is properly tightened. If it is invalid, it indicates that the packing has failed and should be replaced in time. Fillers can be wound with graphite powder coated asbestos ropes.
4. Pay attention to the tension of the belt. The fan belt is too loose and easy to slip. As a result, the speed of the fan and the water pump are reduced, and the wind power is insufficient. If the fan belt is too tight, the bearing load is too large, which leads to increased wear and increased power consumption. The general requirement is: when pressing with the thumb in the middle of the belt, the amount of belt sag should be 10-15 mm. Too loose or too tight should be adjusted in time.
5. Use the thermostat correctly. Thermostats are available in both automatic (eg thermostat) and manual (eg thermal screens and blinds). Some drivers think that the sky is hot in summer, and the lower the water temperature, the better, and often remove the thermostat. In doing so, when the cold car starts, it will greatly prolong the warm-up time of the engine and accelerate the wear of the parts. Therefore, the thermostat should not be removed during the summer. The insulation curtains and shutters are used to adjust the amount of air passing through the radiator. In the summer, no insulation curtains are generally required, and the blinds should also be placed in the fully open position.
6. The correct choice of oil. In summer, the temperature is high, and the diesel with a higher freezing point can be used, and the correctness of the fuel supply advance angle must be ensured. In addition, special attention should also be paid to preventing oil spills from the oil supply system, as oil spills not only cause waste but can also cause fires. In addition to diesel, lubricants and greases should also be selected for use in summer.
Some tractors have an oil-temperature reversing valve. During seasonal maintenance, the reversing valve should be rotated to the location of the oil radiator.
7. Pay attention to the maintenance of the battery. In the summer, the electrolyte in the battery electrolyte evaporates easily. It should be noted that the normal level of the liquid surface should be 1 to 15 mm above the plate. The battery electrolyte density should be adjusted according to regulations. The ventilation hole on the filler cap should be dredged. Store unused batteries in a cool, ventilated place.
8. Anti-burn oil and gas resistance. The higher the temperature is, the faster the evaporation will be, and the easier it will be to form a gas barrier in the oil circuit. Therefore, in the summer, the fuel filter should be cleaned in a timely manner to keep the oil path open; a wet cloth can be placed on the fuel pump during driving, and the water can be poured regularly to keep it moist and reduce the generation of air resistance. Once the fuel system is producing air locks, stop cooling immediately and use a hand pump to fill the circuit with fuel.
9. Anti-engine explosion. The deflagration of the engine due to overheating will increase the wear of the upper part of the cylinder by 3 to 5 times: Therefore, it is necessary to thoroughly remove the carbon deposits in the combustion chamber, the front of the valve, etc., and check the adjustment of the amount of fuel supply and the time of fuel supply to prevent explosion.
