At present, the phenomenon that the oil sold in the rural market is poor and excellent is very common. When you buy oil, you can use eye-sighted, nasal smell method to identify its pros and cons.
Nose smell. Qualified oil should have no special odor, only a slight fragrance. Deteriorating or poor quality oils have large olfactory stimuli and odors.
Seeing. The domestically-made genuine bulk oils are mostly light blue, have a bright luster, and are all shoddy or deteriorating oils when they flow with different color lines. Imported motor oil is golden blue, crystal clear, oil barrels are exquisitely manufactured, the edges of the pattern code are clear and neat, no leakage and overlap.
The use of oil quality in the identification
There are four ways to identify the use of oil. It should be noted that all oil should not be allowed to settle after the engine has stopped. Otherwise, it may not be able to reach a correct conclusion.
Check the oil droplets in the bottom case on white paper. If the center of oil droplets is dark, it is dark brown and uniform without particles, and the surrounding yellow infiltration is very small, which means that the deterioration of engine oil should be replaced. If the center of the oil droplet is black and the color is light, the surrounding yellow infiltration marks are large, indicating that the oil can be used.
Draw a dipstick to identify. Pull out the oil gauge to see if the mark is clear in the light. When the oil on the dipstick cannot be clearly marked, it indicates that the oil is dirty and needs to be replaced immediately.
æ“æ» æ“æ» identification. Take out a little oil from the oil pan and put it on your fingertips. If there is a sticky feeling and there is a phenomenon of drawing, it means that the oil has not deteriorated and can still be used, otherwise it should be replaced.
Dumping identification. Take a little oil from the oil pan and inject it into a container. Then slowly pour it out of the container and observe the luster and viscosity of the oil flow. If the oil flow can maintain a slender and even, indicating that there is no gum and impurities in the engine oil, it can also be used for a period of time, otherwise it should be replaced.
