In fact, the Vegetable Group's modern agricultural park is only a microcosm of Shouguang's 86 modern agricultural parks.

"Shouguang Vegetable" re-development aimed at "advanced world"

According to reports, Shouguang is a famous hometown of Chinese vegetables at home and abroad. There are more than 800,000 mu of vegetable planting, 587 specialty vegetable villages, and 410,000 warm winter greenhouses.

Sui Guangjun, deputy mayor of Shouguang City, introduced that Shouguang Vegetable has entered the high-end market long ago. At present, Shouguang's "Sanpin" certification base has reached 71 million mu, with 290 green and organic food brands; vegetable production standards have been popularized in every vegetable garden, and the rate of establishment has reached 100%; and agricultural input product systems and product inspections have been established. System, packaging marking system and quality traceability system. Since last year, the qualified rate of Shouguang vegetables tested by the Ministry of Agriculture was 100%.

Based on this, in early 2010, the Shouguang Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government formulated the "National Modern Agricultural Demonstration Zone Plan", "Modern Agricultural Park Construction Plan", "Modern Agricultural Park Construction Evaluation Method", and "Green and Organic Vegetable Base Production Opinion" Strategy Sexual and strategic documents put forward that “to take the advanced level of agriculture in the world as the goal, build a modern high-end agricultural development platform and accelerate the development of modern high-end agriculture.”

Shouguang proposed that in the period of 3 to 5 years, planning and construction of a modern high-end agricultural advance area and agglomeration area with complete supporting facilities, well-known rare and special varieties, high-tech applications, and leading economic and social effects in the area of ​​116 square kilometers in the northwest of Shouguang. The only national vegetable seed industry base in the country has completed the feasibility study.

Today, Shouguang has formed a diversified high-end agricultural investment system based on the input of agricultural enterprises. We have obtained 7 provincial and ministerial-level policy support, including modern agricultural demonstration zones and vegetable seed industry bases. Together with local support, we have invested a total of 45.1 million yuan in two years.

Using high technology to support high-end vegetable industry

During the interview, Shouguang City Agriculture Bureau Director Yang Weitian was quite proud: “Shouguang’s scientific and technological strength has been able to provide scientific and technological support for the development of the world’s advanced level of high-end agriculture.” Shouguang has five agricultural science and technology agencies and eight provincial-level and above. Yang Weitian said that Shouguang has more than 10 companies with independent breeding and research and development, and has cultivated four varieties of vegetables with independent intellectual property rights; 32 foreign seed companies such as Swiss Syngenta, Netherlands Rexwang, and Monsanto of the United States were established in Shouguang. The seedling base has an annual seedling capacity of 1.1 billion, and domestic companies have set up 110 seed breeding bases in Shouguang.

Shouguang's high-end planting technology also takes the lead in the country. It promoted more than 330 new technologies such as drip irrigation in greenhouses, ozone inhibition, and water and fertilizer integration, as well as 32 new planting models such as three-dimensional cultivation, soilless cultivation, and biological tissue culture, covering 95% and 98% of new technologies and new varieties respectively. .

"Six marketing systems" directly through the high-end consumer market

Yang Weitian introduced that Shouguang is making every effort to build a “six major” direct market network system for high-end markets and build a direct sales network from the production park to the sales terminal. The first is to establish direct-operated image stores in large and medium-sized cities, the second is to establish VIP high-end customer direct supply systems in big cities, the third is to establish Shouguang brand vegetable counters in supermarkets, and the fourth is to build community franchise stores in large communities, and the fifth is to catering companies.
