Measures to increase the slaughter rate of finishing pigs

In order to increase the slaughter rate of finishing pigs, shorten the cycle of raising pigs and increase the economic benefits of raising pigs, the following technical measures should be grasped in the production of finishing pigs.
1. Excellent hybrid breeds Cross-breeding pigs have the characteristics of rapid growth, high feed remuneration and high slaughter rate. The hybrid advantages obtained by different cross combinations are not the same. The hybridization advantage obtained by the ternary cross combination was greater than that of the binary cross combination; the ternary cross combination of the ocean was greater than the soil ternary cross combination. At present, most domestic hybrids using Landrace and Yorkshire sows and Duroc, Pietrain, Siger and other boar hybridization mode to obtain the best three-way hybrid pigs.
2. To create a good breeding environment Finishing pig houses should be clean, dry, well-ventilated, fresh air, winter is conducive to insulation, and summer is conducive to heat dissipation. The temperature of the piggery should be controlled at 20-30°C for piglets, 15~20°C for pigs, and 50%-55% relative humidity. Such environmental conditions are conducive to the growth and development of pigs, pigs gain weight fast, high feed utilization. High temperature, high humidity, low temperature, high humidity, and poor sanitation can easily lead to a decrease in pig's daily weight gain, low feed utilization, and various diseases.
3. Providing high-quality feed The energy level of finishing pigs should generally be 12.9 MJ/kg to 14.3 MJ/kg, protein levels at 17.8% to 22.4%, crude fiber piglets no more than 5%, and large pigs no more than 8%. Feeding standards are based on different stages of the pig's body weight and growth, and different diets are prepared to meet the nutritional needs of the pigs at each stage.
4. The scientific breeding method is based on the size of the body weight, the strength of the rational grouping, generally 0.8 to 1 square meter per finishing pig is appropriate, winter dense summer sparse. Training, eating, pulling and sleeping three positioning, develop good habits. Eat dry material, free drinking water. Finishing pigs were allowed to feed freely before 60 kg, giving full play to the production potential of the finishing pigs in the early stages of weight gain; 60 kg before the slaughter, feeding with appropriate restrictions to limit fat deposition. It is generally advisable to limit 20% of free-feeding. Finishing pigs prefer free drinking water, clean water and warm drinking water in winter.
5. Scientific pest prevention and disinfection should regularly drive out internal and external parasites. According to the immunization program, vaccination work such as swine fever, swine erysipelas, swine plague, piglet paratyphoid fever, and foot-and-mouth disease was conducted. Periodically sterilize tools such as pens and troughs. Lay lime in front of the laps and disinfect the feet of the personnel.

Anthocyanins are a type of flavonoid, a class of compounds with antioxidant effects. Found naturally in a number of foods, anthocyanins are the pigments that give red, purple, and blue plants their rich coloring. In addition to acting as antioxidants and fighting free radicals, anthocyanins may offer anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and anti-cancer benefits.
Recent research suggests that anthocyanins may also help fend off major health problems, including heart disease and cancer.

1) Heart Disease
Anthocyanins may enhance heart health, anthocyanins appear to improve cholesterol levels and blood sugar metabolism, as well as fight oxidative stress.
2) Obesity
Preliminary research suggests that anthocyanins may protect against obesity.
3) Cancer
Anthocyanins may aid in the prevention of breast cancer, according to a laboratory study published in Phytotherapy Research in 2010.
